To all of us that have lost 🥂
This one is for all of us that have lost.
Lost a loved one, a friend, a relationship, a dream or just lost in life in general. Or maybe you feel like life just keeps dealing you with blows and it never seems to end.
Not to be the harbinger of bad news but I don’t think it gets easier. In a sense it feels like the higher we go the more daunting it gets.
Before you reject it hold on.
I think back to a lot of milestones in my life and I just can’t help but think about how every season had its own fair share of trials and tribulations.
I thought that once I leave SS3, all the problems in my life will be sorted. I got to uni and I had bigger fishes to fry hence it is my humble submission that problem no dey actually finish.
One thing I’ve always wondered tho is how to walk through the emotions. Initially I would not talk about it. I would just tell God it was okay. I could be feeling a lot of emotions at the same time; anger, hurt, sadness etc. I’m here to encourage to feel your emotions! . It’s not a bad thing to feel your emotions however you need to submit it to a higher power. God created those emotions so you are supposed to feel it.
You can carry the joy of the lord even when you are going through great trials. You unanimous feel sad and still be joyful because sadness is an emotion while joy is a state of being.
Can I ask you a question, if after praying for that one thing you needed God to do for you and it didn’t happen will God still be good?
I’m learning that God is good always! In the good and in the bad times.
On Friday I attended CLASFON fellowship. Im really excited about it because God has laid something similar for me to share a day before, and the sermon so complements what I had written out. I’ll share the excerpts here.
The title is “Sufferring with Joy”
CLASFON NLS
James 1:2-4
Suffering with Joy
Being a Christian will not exempt you from the sufferings of Law School.
The difference between a believer and unbeliever is how you relate to those experiences. It’s not a lack of faith to admit you are going through something’s.
You pass through certain trials so we can be better for it.
God is going to use this to birth something in me.
1. Avoid Complaining and Murmuring
2. Avoid Self Pity
Murmuring does not mean you should not pour your heart to God. Psalm 34:17-19
You have a God who can deliver from your troubles
Be full of thanksgiving
Philippians 4:4
Trust in the lord with all your heart
Hebrews 4:15
Knowing who Jesus is and that you can trust him with your life, you can be joyful in suffering.
When the challenges of life come, remember that you can trust God with your life. When it feels like you’re at the end of that road trust him to still show up.
The Bible says
“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
Romans 8:37 NKJV

And when life gets really tough, remember God. Remember that he went through the same things like you. He knows how it feels. He knows how hurt you are. The Bible says
“Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 4:14-16 NKJV

Finally, this hymn has been on my heart and I’ll share it here
There’s not a Friend like the lowly Jesus:
No, not one! no, not one!
None else could heal all our souls’ diseases:
No, not one! no, not one!
Jesus knows all about our struggles;
He will guide ’til the day is done:
There’s not a Friend like the lowly Jesus:
No, not one! no, not one
We stand gallant because our senior man is able. ❤️
Rooting for you❤️
