BULLDOZING BY THE WORD
This letter is from Anuoluwapo, chosen by the will of God to be a harbinger of the love of the Father to you.
One day I was listening to an interview of DDK and she mentioned that when she wanted to get married, she ate scriptures like she was popping pills and I was like in this law school, we will eat scriptures like we are popping pills.
I had a leader in my women’s community that mentioned that whenever she was faced with any aspects of her life that she needed improvements in, she would read through the Bible and find scriptures that speak to it and meditate on it.
When I was going to law school, I knew I would start an everyday prayer time in law school, and I wasn’t sure I would be very consistent. Consistency was a major challenge for me and lucky for me, I had gathered scriptures on consistency.
When I was working during my NYSC, towards the time I would wrap up work it felt like things just wanted to stress me but I was determined to finish strong. What did I do?
I had to trek a distance to my destination so as I was trekking, I would tell myself “Anu Jesus finished well, I will finish well” “I am a finisher” till I got to where I was going
In law school, our anchor scripture was Philippians 4:6-7
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV
Like a week to exam, most people in my LET US PRAY community would mention how they were too at peace. Our problem became too much peace 😂 I know it’s funny but it means you can get to a point where you lay hold of God’s word till you see it’s performance.
Know this, when we became born again, our spirit became born again. It doesn’t need to “grow”, spiritual growth has to do with your mind. It’s why Romans 12:2 says
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Romans 12:2 NKJV
For a long time, meditation stressed me. I would sleep off when I was meditating and it became tiresome, but I knew that it was the missing link in my spiritual growth. A part of me knew something was missing and I had to rectify. So today, one of my pastor mentioned that her way of meditations was for her to say it at least 500 - 1000 times till it stuck in her sub conscious. This is not doctrine. What I got from this is that you must ruminate on the word, like a ruminant animal.
So you begin to chew, bring it back up, chew again till you’re walking your talk.
Regardless of how you choose to do it, make sure you speak the word, meditate on it and confess it. Bible study is important and meditation is also important. It’s the words you trap on your inside in the days when things don’t look like it.
A big part of meditation of focus! FOCUS!!!! Set your mind on one thing !!! But do what? FOCUS!!!! ❤
Let me leave you with scripture to meditate on.
“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.”
II Corinthians 2:14 NKJV
You triumph always ! You win all the time!
“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”
I John 4:4 NKJV
You’re an Overcomer! Regardless of the circumstances, you overcome it!!!! You’re a world champion.
“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
Romans 8:37 NKJV
You’re not just a conqueror, you’re more than a conqueror in all things.
In short, you win all the TIME!!! Your life is beautiful and excellent!!!! ❤
It may seem difficult at first but keep speaking, keep meditating till you see it.
I’m rooting for you constantly and I pray that you meditate on God’s word till you see it.
May the lord constantly remind you of who you are to him and how he sees you, and may you remain in fellowship with your source now and forever Amen.
